Help prevent birds from flying into windows, doors and greenhouses which can cause injury or death. Translucent decals reflect ultraviolet light so they appear like frosted glass to humans but show clearly to birds. Reusable self-adhering decals remove easily. Each pack contains four decals approximately 4" across. Hummingbird design.

WindowAlert decals may be used only on an EXTERIOR glass surface -- free of any overlay, tinting, film, or coating.

Clean glass thoroughly. Make sure glass is free of chemicals and cleaners before applying decals.

Decals are best applied when glass is warm (greater than 50 degrees Fahrenheit). If applied during winter months, clean glass with warm water prior to application.

Peel decal from paper backing. The same side that was against the paper goes the against the glass.

Place decals on the outside of the window. Concentrate decals at center then work out, placing decals at a minimum, on every 2 feet of glass. For maximum protection, scientific studies suggest placing decals 2 inches horizontal, by 4 inches vertical, from one another.

UV coating will fade based on exposure and local elevation. For best results, replace decals every 4 months or test with the WindowAlert UV Flashlight.

Position out of reach of infants and small children.

Restore static cling by rinsing in lukewarm water.

These window decals really do keep birds from flying into our windows and they are attractive.

Unfortunately I left a bad review earlier because I did not read the info well before buying. It is impossible for me to apply theses decals on the outside of my windows because of their height above ground. My error but I will try using them on the inside instead since I purchased them.

Owner Response: We're sorry you missed that these are designed for the exterior of the window and will try to make that information more prominent. They may still be beneficial even though you have them on the interior of the window.

bird protection

We have five patio doors that face the south so every year I place these on the windows after a good cleaning and it is rare that we ever fine birds flying into our windows/doors.

Ordered to place on windows to keep birds from hitting windows. The bumps are startling. Waiting till the addition is complete before I put up.

Window Decals

These decals work in preventing birds from trying to fly into your home. If the window or door area you wish to cover faces the sun, I suggest you replace the decals every year or two. The sun has a tendency to remove the effectiveness of the decals. Very good product.

well, I think I need more than just four. I put 3 on one window and the other one on the other side. The birds have since hit the window with the one. And have hit my slider. But the window with three decals they have not hit. So I guess they work, I just need more.
