Yes and no
This tool works just fine as a lawn edger. It doesn't do anything as a paving weeder, except perhaps to irritate the weeds. It just pushes them over.

Saves the back
I used this immediately in my garden under the rose bushes. Not sure how it does with pavement cracks (white vinegar) might be a better option, however it was perfect for how I needed to use it.

Weeder for stone pathways
This is the best tool I have ever used to remove weeds between the bricks. I only wish it was a bit longer as I am tall with a bad back.

Was weeding slate on my mom's patio...by hand. She discovered this in your catalog. It works great! a I have friends/clients with slate patios, so I bought one, too! A cover for the blade would make it perfect!!
