How It Works:
Openings in the shroud align with the ports, providing birds access to the food. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing access to the ports. Squirrels and some large birds are foiled but not harmed in any way.
All feeder parts exposed to squirrels are made of chew-proof materials.
Generous size holds about 2 1/2 lbs. of seed. The seed container is 4" diameter x 19" tall. The moving squirrel-proof cage is 5.3" diameter and about 21" tall, including the lid.

Squirrels BEGONE!
During day one and two after the install we were treated to a prolonged kabuki dance from our feasting squirrels. They left fully frustrated and now we have a return of our favorite birds feeding without interruption.

Squirrel Buster bird feeder
Thank you for suggesting the Squirrel Buster bird feeder! The squirrels are beside themselves! The bird feeder is miraculous, it does keep the squirrels from eating the seeds! I am no longer chasing squirrels off of my feeder! I finally have all my birds back, instead of squirrels hanging off the feeder!

We've had our Squirrel buster at our home up and operating in the ice and snow and cold temperatures so far this winter. It is unaffected ....the seed stays dry and it is very popular with the birds. It seems very good in all weathers.
