AMAZING!!
I live in the PacNW and slugs are endemic here! Once they have decided that a plant is yummy, you can put all the 'pet safe' poison around it that you like, they will skip over it and chomp the plant to the ground. They even climb up rhodies to chomp their leaves!?! There isn't enough 'bait' to cover the ground around these big bushes... But this!!!! Every single night I put these out I caught at least a dozen slugs and often many, many more. Cleaning it with the hose nozzle on 'jet' was super easy and I put the loaded and clean out the next night to fill up with slugs yet again. Once it was empty of slugs overnight, I moved to another area of the garden and started catching these slimy pests there. Very helpful! I just wish I could buy these traps by the dozen!!!

I just installed this in my flower garden yesterday. So far the snails are attracted to it and there are quite a few in there plus one cricket. I am hoping to cut down the snail population and distract them from eating my poppies in the springtime.

Slug Traps
Last year we purchased from you 7 slug traps. We have a lot of Hostas, so battling slugs is our life as gardeners. In the past we used the pellets which seemed not to work, so we saw the traps in your catalog and bought the traps. We kept a count and last year we caught 500 slugs, feeding them to the birds that hang out in our yard. They loved the treats. The slugs are choosy about beer, we caught the most using Ultra Light and Michelob Ultra. P.S. So far in '24 we caught 70 slugs

Slug trap success!
I am so thrilled to finally find a slug trap that truly works! I check it every few days to dump the slugs and apply more beer for the next round!

Didn't think I had very many slugs until I had lain the trap! After one day I had more than 20 slugs! Moved the trap to a different location and collected another 20 slugs! Decided that I now need to order more traps. The only downside of this device, giving up a couple of bottles of my husband's favorite beer. Now I am on a search for less expensive beer.
