The Pin and Sleeve accessory has been developed by EverEdge to help contractors/installers get a firm anchorage in poor ground conditions. It can be easily fitted to Classic, Heavy Duty and ProEdge products without any modifications. The sleeve is a small plastic piece that fits on the spike portion of the edging. A piece of 10 mm diameter rebar is then slipped through the opening on the sleeve. You can use as few or as many of these as necessary. This system considerably reduces the need for haunching and is not necessary in normal ground conditions.
