I've tried different plant markers from wood, plastic and other metal ones. But these have been working well for me. They seem to last longer are easy to use and write on. I like the size too.

    Mark your plants

We're putting in Perennials around a Gazebo, and in 2 Triangle areas for constant bloom, in the town park. We have a label maker so are putting the names of plants on the back of the plant marker with a permanent marker and on the front with the label marker. This way when people visit the gardens the know what plants are there . It's nice to identify plants so everyone knows what's planted for their enjoyment.

So far so good! I'm using a pTouch label maker with these markers and it's perfect for putting the names in my hosta collection! Looking forward to seeing how they fare over the winter here in zone 5b.

Very good but you could include the special pencil that works well on them which came with my last purchase from a local garden center.

exactly as described. Used carbon pencil to label and it wrote really well and didn't come off (even when I wanted to erase a mistake). I bought the medium sized horizontal marker, and there was plenty of room for both botanical and common name, date planted, and a number that corresponds to a map of my yard.
