Black Marking Pencil for Zinc Markers

Please note that this pencil actually etches into the zinc markers. To remove any writing, lightly sand the plate and write your new information. To sharpen, you can use a regular pencil sharpener but might consider putting the pencil in the freezer first as it might break if the lead is too soft.

Not for use with Copper Labels

    I ordered carbon pencils to pair with my zinc garden labels. Just sharpen in your electric sharpener and use on your labels. Think carefully because the sign will be permanent, just like you need it to be. Impress your friends by learning scientific and common names of your plantings!

    Pencil sharpened fairly easily on an electric sharpener, and wrote clearly on the zinc labels I purchased. It does not erase, so be careful not to make mistakes!
