    Concept great, quality poor

Posted by Robert on May 3rd 2015

Bought these expensive columns and posts 2 years ago. take them inside in the winter. Paint is pealing and metal is rusting. Posts are only lightly tack welded to base.

    Beautiful

We love these border columns. What a wonderful idea for the garden or to accent a sidewalk, etc. The columns we've gotten have been sturdy. We've had no problems with the columns blowing over. They have stayed securely in the ground. Plan on buying more. We have three now. We've gotten so many compliments.

Like these a lot. Seem very sturdy. So far baskets have managed to stay on. Plants are doing well. Will definitely order again.

    Disappointed

Posted by Andrew on May 20th 2014

After I ordered it they called me and said that the stand and the piece that you stick in the ground came in 2 different finishes. I went ahead and ordered it anyway and it is not too noticeable. When it arrived and I put it together the top disk would not fit onto the column due to the welding! I had to use a metal file to get it to fit! Poor design. Once in ground it does look good however. Just needs some re-design

    Looks good in the box

With two feet of snow on the ground, I can't say how well the column works, but it arrived promptly and looks well made. I'm giving it 5 watering cans for the first impression being good.

    Beautiful Pedestal Display

Posted by TedK on Feb 6th 2014

I have had my unit for at least 5 years and it looks great. I liked it so much that I bought one for each of my three daughters, the downside is that I am now obligated to fill four units with flowers every spring...beautiful!! I even install a bird feeder on it during the winter.

    Won't last

Posted by Susan on Jul 12th 2012

These kits produce lovely displays, but have two serious flaws: (1) pounding the stake into clay soil is very difficult, and (2) the columns are made of very thin steel that quickly rusts and can't withstand strong winds. Just threw away 3 of these after only two years of use.
