Single sided feeder, so you can always see all your bird visitors. Wooden perch has adjustable counterweight around the back, so feed opening shuts tight when large birds or squirrels arrive.


Mount it two ways: with tree hanger or 5-foot, 1 inch diameter ground pole (both included). Clear windows let you monitor seed level. Durable, chew-resistant, powder coated steel body.

Easy fill roof that locks securely.

We've enjoyed this Absolute Squirrel Proof Feeder, it is one of our best squirrel proof bird feeder for over 20 years and it works great! We use it year-round for sunflower, the cardinals' favorite, and we adjust the balance so greedy squirrels, blue jays, and grackles close off the feed.

    Bought this on the website's recommendation to allow cardinals and a few larger birds to feed since I bought the orignal Nuttery feeder for the small birds (which also like this feeder as well). I used it with the pole mount and it seems sturdy. Easy to fill and adjust the counterbalance. It seems very well made and I plan to use it throughout the winter here.
