Single sided feeder, so you can always see all your bird visitors. Wooden perch has adjustable counterweight around the back, so feed opening shuts tight when large birds or squirrels arrive.


Mount it two ways: with tree hanger or 5-foot, 1 inch diameter ground pole (both included). Clear windows let you monitor seed level. Durable, chew-resistant, powder coated steel body.

Easy fill roof that locks securely.

Huge 15 lb. (2 1/2 gallon) seed capacity.

We've enjoyed this Absolute Squirrel Proof Feeder, it is one of our best squirrel proof bird feeder for over 20 years and it works great! We use it year-round for sunflower, the cardinals' favorite, and we adjust the balance so greedy squirrels, blue jays, and grackles close off the feed.

    Bird feeder

    I have had this make/model of bird feeder for over 25 years. I am not sure how to set the weight, since I cannot read any #s on the side of the new feeder. I have to replace every ten years or so because the perch rots in the elements. Hopefully I have it where the cardinals can eat, but not the squirrels.

    I have a grackle problem. It makes me feel bad to make it impossible for them to eat my bird seed, but this does the trick. It also makes it impossible for squirrels, too. Oh, well!

    This feeder looks exactly like the picture. It’s made of quality materials, so it is very durable and has a great finish. It easily attached to the pole. The large birds cannot get the food because the “door” closes. Not a single squirrel could access it either! This feeder will give us a lot of joy watching the birds for years to come.

    The best bird feeder in the market. I have 1 that I have had for 10 years. It is worth the investment.

    Squirrels can not access

    I love this feeder. It hold a nice amount of food and th squirrels are left hungry. Only complaint. The food doesn't slide down easily so I constantly have to move the seed forward.

    Love the feeder! So far no squirrels! Would have preferred it to be available in dark brown as when the sun shines on the green paint, it is blinding.
