The advantages of side planting are many. You get a lush, fully covered container much more quickly and an impressive floral display in weeks instead of months. But side planting used to require time consuming handwork, cutting holes in liners or juggling loose moss. Pamela Crawford's side planting containers mean you can create spectacular plantings in a small fraction of the time it used to take.

Hayrack baskets and liners give spectacular instant results. Ingenious holes and slits in the coco-fiber allow mature plants with 3" to 4 " root balls to be inserted.

Use these Window Box Planters on windows, walls and railings. They can also be used directly on decks and patios, using pot feet supports to raise them off the ground. Constructed from heavy gauge steel bars, coated in black plastic.

When ordering a replacement liner for this basket, use item CLZW36

Mounting hardware not included. Suggestions include Large J Hooks (LKCJH), J Hooks (KCJH) and Hayrack Brackets (KCRB). You can also use plated or masonry lag bolts which are available at your local hardware store.

    First Time Hay Rack Planter

Posted by D Randall on Jul 5th 2024

I am delighted with the planters! I mounted them on our shed. All of the plants were from a greenhouse sale so they may not fill out like a well-planned planter but I love how they are progressing. I may buy another one for the third window.

We purchased these to replace our wooden window boxes and update our house. We are so impressed with the quality and the price. Can't wait to plant them!

    O M G!!!

This was so much bigger and sturdier than I expected- I am in awe and hope to get a photo entered this summer. I had it delivered to my office and showed it to everyone. I'm trying to convince my boss that it would make a beautiful Mother's Day gift- I'll even plant it up for him :) His wife would love it!!!

    Lovely product!

I had been looking for a product like this everywhere, and this was the only place I could find that had something close to what I was looking for. I have gotten so many compliments on my window boxes, and I just planted them this week. I can't wait to see them in a month when they fill out! The purchase was hassle free and came well within a reasonable time frame with the quarantine. Thank you so much!

    Lovely planter

I bought 10 of these planters last summer. Love them, very sturdy and well made. Sit on top of my railway ties that line the driveway entrance. Wish there was an option for replacement liners without side holes for these window boxes.

I ordered 10 of these window boxes to place behind our driveway railroad ties and lighting . My hope is that they will grow and drape over the wall...very pleased.

    Love them

I have had my 5 window baskets, this season will be 4 years and I Love Them. They look as good as the day I received them. Yes, you do have to change the liners, I do so every other year. They add color and beauty to my house and you can enjoy the colors from the inside too.
