Dramatic cone shape is excitingly different. It also provides a much deeper root run than ordinary baskets. We first saw baskets shaped like these at a pub in England, in a shady corner of an outdoor beer garden. Planted with hostas, they made a strong and pleasing architectural statement. These new baskets made from strong welded steel wire, coated in black plastic.

Kinsman Co. is new to me - and so glad I discovered it. Really like the catalog. Even like the name of their community, Pipersville. In any event, I ordered the Conical Hanging Basket and it is perfect. The workmanship is excellent. I have comparisons because both my daughter and I have purchased this type of basket before locally here in Orange County. The Kinsman basket is made with better steel wire and it is just more substantial, overall. The shipping was also good. They obviously take pride in their product and it shows in their attention to all details related to the sale.

Love, love, love these baskets. I purchased 2 for my outdoor wedding to go on each side of our wedding arch. They were stunning. They are very sturdy and will last for many, many years. I used to be a buyer at a large garden nursery, ordered from this company, so I knew the quality was great. Nice heavy coating on the metal. I hung my baskets on shepherd hooks. With their size, soil and plant weight they were a bit front heavy, so I wired the shepherd's hook to a 3 ft. metal fence post (spray painted to blend), adding the extra support they needed. Sorry I am not seeing how to add a photo.

Exactly what I wanted
This cone shaped hanging basket seems strong and has withstood 5 thunderstorms already! It is and needs to be durable. I hang it within a copper structure. Looks great and has a place in front of residence. Thanks for this item. I might get larger one next year!!
