Hole Protector for wooden birdhouses
Smooth, chrome coated steel plates (with screws included) protect holes from being enlarged by squirrels and large birds. 1 1/2" size for bluebirds and tree swallows

Please note that in certain photos these hole protectors might appear to have an oval opening, but the opening is definitely round.

Diameter of entire hole protector is approximately 2 1/2"

    Predators and squirrels gnawing the bird house holes was frustrating. This simple product fixed the problem. Easy to install.

    When I bought a handmade wooden birdhouse at an antiques store, the clerk told me to be sure to get a hole protector so the hole isn't ruined by the birds. I nodded and walked away, thinking I hadn't the first clue where to find such a thing. A few weeks later your catalog arrived and there they were! Perfect size, easy to attach and looks great! I'm so pleased!

    I was wondering where to find some metal protectors for my bluebird houses when I received your catalog in the mail for the first time and saw them in the pages!So glad to have them just in time! The bluebirds are here. And I hope this year they will be more protected and successful with their babies.

    These birdhouse protectors are just what I needed to salvage a couple of squirrel-ravaged houses! They will be back up for next spring and I think they will be safe from bushel tailed invaders! Great price, too!

    I'm a little confused. We ordered these for the bluebirds, but the holes are larger than the holes already in the houses we bought as kits. Hesitate to use them as they are larger holes than we now have.
