The 17 inch Old Fashioned Hanging baskets with coco fiber linings are just perfect for hanging ferns on our front porch. We live in an old turn of the century home, and these baskets are wonderful, and we get so many compliments on them. They are very durable.

I like them but the clips were difficult to hook in. Needed a lot of effort and strength.

The planter with chains for hanging arrived and I was surprised by how big it is. I filled it with potting soil, got some plants, and hung it from the hook I had put up last year. It looks great. I have a vining geranium, a chunk of ivy, and two other flowering plants in the basket. I like it very much. I'm going to order a swivel for it so I can more easily turn it. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This well-made, sturdy wire basket is the best around. I checked others and this seems to be the best made. I am so happy with this purchase. The chains connect easily after planting, the liner is sturdy and not flimsy. I also purchased separately the water well and swivel hook, perfect for my fern on my screen porch.

I have had these baskets of different sizes for many years. They are the best value and my only choice and the liners you offer are the only ones I have found that fit. I am happy to give the basket and liner as a gift when I can.

I purchased 3-14 inch hanging baskets. Great quality, the liners are substantial, and the coating on the wire adds to the looks of the baskets. Wonderful service and follow up.

I have been using the larger size hanging baskets for years and have loved their construction. This year I bought this smaller size and was disappointed that the hooks on the chains do not stay on like the larger ones. I tried clamping them to make them hold but no luck. Too bad because I really had hope to have the same quality as I had been accustomed to from the company.

We have been very happy with all the products and services from Kinsman Co . Every year we order more of the 17 hanging baskets - they are well made and the coco liners are high quality. We offer a custom grow program and refill these for our clients. Our oldest baskets are 5 years old - still in excellent shape. Replace the cocoliner and replant! We love them!!! We reorder because our existing clients refer more!!!

What a delight it is to review a wonderful basket! Over the years I have many hanging baskets that without fail rusted out or fell apart. I now have 5 or 6 baskets from Kinsman that are holding up like troopers! Sturdy and strong...an excellent basket.

LOVE these hanging baskets! Terrific quality, a vast improvement over the 'price pointed' Chinese-mfgd stuff available at our local retailers. Sturdy basket, heavy chain, and the molded coco baskets are also finished much better than their local counterparts. Would DEFINITELY buy them again, and HIGHLY recommend them! You will not be disappointed!

This set is a very good value for the price. My only quibble is that it was hard to attach the clip hooks to the basket as they were so inflexible. I needed to use a pair of pliers to do so.

A beautiful hanging basket. Very heavy when filled with soil. I would have liked some more detailed planting instructions, especially about when and how much to water since the mat seems to keep the soil moist.

Just arrived and taking them out of the box they appear very sturdy. Can't plant my ferns in them yet as the rain mats are on back order. Looking forward to having my ferns thrive in these BIG baskets. Could never find any this size that looked well put together. Hope these live up to my expectations. Will review again once I get them planted.

These baskets are very high quality. My disappointment was with the clips that came for attaching the chains to the baskets. Additional correspondnece with Kinsman explained that they were the correct clips, but they were impossible to get on without tearing up the plastic coating that makes the baskets so nice. I had to spend additional money to purchase clain links so I could use the pots. The clips need to be just a bit larger.

The baskets available at local nursery centers were lightweight, uncoated metal - unlikely to last more than a season. These are heavyweight, coated and sure to last. Plus the chains attach at four points instead of the normal three. Excellent!
