The Perfect Birdbath

I ordered two of these, one for me and one for my daughter-in-law and we couldn't be more pleased! We love the natural earth tones of the ceramic bowl. The stand is nice and heavy and sturdy. The birds readily came to the bath for a drink and to bathe. We did notice the spelling error that another customer had pointed out in their review. Hopefully that will be corrected in the future.

The best thing I can say about the birdbath is that I love pottery and the pottery is pretty. However, words are misspelled on the rim of it and it is smaller than I expected it to be. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. I probably should have returned it but packing was an issue, and the cost involved etc. Using it in a small flower bed but I haven't seen any birds using it yet. A bit of a disappointment.

The bird bath arrived broken but within two days of calling customer service, we received a wonderful replacement and the birds are loving it in this extreme heat we have been experiencing! The color is perfect amongst our garden colors!

The bird bath arrived well packaged and undamaged. I must not have noticed when ordering that there is wording stamped around the perimeter of the bowl. Of note, this product is made in China. The word 'eternity' was spelled 'etemity ' . Oh well, adds to the unique factor!

That's just what my sister said when she opened her gift! She really likes it...looks great in her garden. I think it's made in China...that would be my only complaint.
Hello Connie. The birdbath was designed in England, but you're right - it is made in China. The green and brown glaze is exquisite - and it reminds us that the Chinese were making fine porcelain hundreds of years before Europe. That's why we call it "china". But the stand is made for us in India by the same factory that makes all our hanging baskets and containers. They're wonderful people and we love visiting them in India . Graham Kinsman

Love the size of this bird bath.. It's not too deep and not too shallow. The slope allows smaller birds to bathe in the shallow part and the larger birds can bathe one at a time in the center where it's deeper. Love it!!! Also the smooth surface makes it easy to clean any mold!!

I am very happy with the Pottery Birdbath and Garden Stand Combo! I like it even better than I thought I would! The birdbath has a beautiful sage green glaze with ripples to help birds keep their footing, or to allow them to be able to step up if they go into the birdbath too deeply. It is so much easier to clean than I thought it would be. I squirt a little vinegar in the birdbath (after the water is poured out) and wipe it clean. Rinse well before re-filling it with water. I like how heavy the pottery birdbath is! It doesn't spill even when squirrels stand on it to get a drink, which occasionally occurs ! The stand is just the right height to keep the birdbath stable. I keep the birdbath and stand on my deck where I can easily observe my happy, feathered friends. Thank you, Kinsman Company, for offering such quality items!

I wanted a smallish birdbath for my deck and this one is perfect. I bought the stand and it can be placed anywhere on the deck for the many birds that visit our feeders and gardens.
