Over the last several years I have ordered these about 5 times. They all are still in perfect shape. The fronds are great for supporting long branches of a hosta or fern, for instance and look wonderful. Very graceful looking. I have several in my pots on my deck and I love looking at them curling out of the pots!!

These fiddle heads both the large sized and small ones have become an important part of my landscape at home offering winter interest and summer fun. I've also incorporated them into my interior plant business. They provide height and definition to my large floor plant units.

These look cute in my garden, but I was expecting a royal blue color. Might have been my eyes, but they looked blue in the catalog, on my screen, and even on the tag that came with them. However they are most definitely black. A change in the description at some point might be beneficial for anyone who sees them blue like I do!

I love the elegant lines of these stakes that I can use in the ground over a ground cover or inside a large pot. As my family is Welsh and Scottish I love the Celtic swirl design of the fiddleheads. Fiddleheads are a favorite Maine spring green which is gathered by locals and sold in trendy shops.

I was disappointed with the fiddlehead fern stakes as they were not of the high quality I expected. I ordered and am enjoying the Chinese moon gate I received from your catalog some time ago, but these stakes were very "flimsy" and smaller than expected.
We're very sorry you were disappointed in the Fiddlehead Fern Stakes. Of course we understand that others might have a different expectation of the product but we certainly don't consider them flimsy The sizes are clearly marked on our website and in our catalog and they are designed to be used in pots or in the ground with low ground covers. I bought 5 sets, so both sizes. Not only are they decorating my ferns but some are holding back the ferns fronds so you can walk down the path. Love the look. I'm impressed with the quality as these are strong and will not bend.

The stakes are graceful and a great addition to pots or beds. But, when used outdoors they rust.
If the coating becomes compromised in any way, rust will certainly occur. We recommend spraying all iron work items with a rust preventative product on an annual basis. (These sprays are available in clear.)

These are really fun and whimsical- however, my intent was to use in my large pots but they are not tall enough. I knew I should have purchased the taller sets but these will be used for smaller deck pots!

Great for placing in a potted planter. I love the frond stage of ferns but it just doesn't last long enough. Purchased the large ones as well for use in my garden. The smaller set is a great buy. The larger maybe a little on the pricey side but worth it for the novelty. Won't see these in every garden!!!
