I have had several garden spades and forks. I am not always good about putting them away after use so I've replaced a few handles. The forged blade never wears out but I misplaced it. I also have a 'poacher's spade' which is great for planting and weeding.

Excellent all round digging spade. Comfortable handle with a well balanced heft and good sharp edge for breaking through dense soil and wire grass roots.
