I have had 2 packs of these to make plants and so far have had successful on a gardenia, surprised for that the most as well on a jatropha bush. tried a crape myrtle but was wrong time of year, need to do a few more as great success!

I tried one rooter pot on a rhodedendron I wanted to propagate. After about 6 weeks the top leaves started to die, so I peeked inside where the roots should be growing and found leaves growing instead of roots. Has anybody else had this problem? What am I doing wrong? I thought I followed the directions exactly. **** We're actually quite confused as to how leaves rather than roots can be growing in the soil so we honestly don't know what might have gone wrong for you. ****

Since the rooter pots have been so difficult to assemble, I have not used these yet. I am hopeful they are still okay to use. The idea is terrific, but the instructions for assembling the rooter pots do not match the product...thus delaying my use of them.

These are the best thing I have tried so far for air layering. No muss, no fuss, put it on and forget it. Roots in weeks and they are stabilized so no worries about root damage after cutting and repotting.

Just used it on my rubber plant. Was very easy to use. I'm hoping for good results.
