It took three tries to get a watering can that was packed properly. Customer service was prompt and responsive. The can itself is well made, with a good coat of paint. It's well balanced with water in it and delivers a hefty amount of water. The drawback is that the sprinkler part, the"rose", is almost impossible to get onto the spout, and once you get it on, it takes two people to get it off, diminishing the versatility of it. I'll probably use it without the rose. I have another larger watering can similar to one offered in the catalog that was purchased in Europe and it is perfect in every regard, which is why I was willing to fork over the considerable $$$ for this one.
