Red (Salsa) Glazed Ceramic Fish

Item Number: FGR

Details

Sculptured ceramic fish have tails formed to left or right - so they 'swim' through grasses, perennials and ground covers, creating motion and excitement in your garden.

Start with a group of three - two tails one way and one tail the other way - and add as many as you like to form a colorful shoal of fishes in motion.

These colorful and delicate looking ceramic fish are made in Maine from sturdy stoneware clay and fired to around 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit, a process that makes them able to withstand even Maine's subzero winter temperatures.

Steel stakes (included), pass through the bottom hole of the hollow fish and wedge securely inside the top fin, so the fish stays at the angle you choose to suggest movement and flow by the group of 3 or more.

Artist designer Tyson Weiss, who designs and makes these fish, says: One is a fish on a stick. Two is cute and romantic. Three and more will create the flow."

Small is 8" long x 4 1/4" high x 3" wide

Medium is 11 1/2" long x 6" high x 3 1/2" wide

Large is 14" long x 8" high x 5" wide

DISCLAIMER:

EXACT DIMENSIONS AND GLAZE COLORS WILL VARY DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE FIRING PROCESS. MINOR IMPERFECTIONS MAY ALSO OCCUR. EACH FISH IS UNIQUE, AS IN NATURE.

We placed three salsa red koi in our blue glass "river" and love seeing them "swimming" in our garden! We would add pictures if that was an option.

Love these beautiful fishes!! They bring color and joy to my raised bed midst grasses, plants, and flowers, despite living in a townhouse with a very small yard, they fit right into the imaginary stream they splash in. Just love them!

There is no better time to add gorgeous red salsa ceramic fish to your landscape. We have 30 fish of all different colors and sizes swimming upstream (and isn't that what we all are doing right now?) in a drainage ditch (we call it "the river runs through it") in the backyard. Nothing gives me greater pleasure these days than to see those sparks of color and know spring has sprung and we are all safely sheltering in place as we ride this pandemic out. CB

I bought 3 of the large red salsa fish and have them "swimming" outside my lanai in FL. My pool guy said one of his customers put them in an inground spa and it looks like a Koi pond. Very good quality!

Red is best!

I initially liked the cobalt blue fish, however, now that I have tried 3 different colors, the salsa ones are the best! I bought the 3 of them (two small and one medium) for the garden and they look good there. I ended up putting the medium blue and light blue (small and medium) in my 1/2 whisky barrel planter where they look fantastic! The large blue is in his own container. I find the small and medium size to be plenty big!!!

Add a wonderful splash of color

I ordered three of the smaller Koi and have them swimming at the edge of my Japanese maple tree. They truly look real there floating above the ground. I am absolutely happy with them and may add more to my garden.
