This is a very nice, high quality, heavy spade. I was hoping it would be a bit narrower, but it works for most plantings. Very pleased with it.

I recently purchased this planting spade because I wanted a narrow blade to dig among existing plants. I thought it would be flimsier than my larger spades and would be difficult to use. I was so wrong. This spade has a heavy blade that will not bend when digging is difficult soil, yet is still light enough to be used easily. I highly recommend it!!
