I'm quite pleased with this watering can. It's very pretty and well balanced, and the head provides a good shower--not too harsh for small transplants, but it provides a good soak. I'd hesitate to use it on really young seedlings in the greenhouse--a bit too intense. My only hesitation in giving this a five-star (or five watering can?) review is that one of the joints (between the can and the spout) seems a bit loose when you pick it up, so I'm not sure if the connection will fail eventually. At the end of the day, it's not in the same league as a certain British professional watering can, but it's definitely superior to anything else I've tried in a long while. I purchased the short version, too, and will likely purchase more.

The little things sprouting in my garden beds love the gentle soaking shower from this watering can. We've had a very dry winter and haven't yet turned on the water to our garden beds so the generous flow of water is most welcome on the dry soil. The way the can is weighted makes it very easy to use.

Ordered two, one for the front; the other for the back. They are a delight!

These galvanized steel cans with brass roses are a lifetime buy. I just replaced one after 25 years of leaving it outside through all four seasons. If I had brought it indoors every Winter I'd still be using it. Great value.
