Should spotlight a favorite clematis nicely.

Fairly easy to assemble. Did not need two persons as indicated, but...a third hand would have come in handy at times. Looking forward to making it a focal point in a small container garden.

Tuteur Review

The tuteur seems well-made and went together fairly easily, for one person, but I found the the bolt sent to secure the base and spacers to the tuteur was too short to be used with a terracotta pot. Apparently it was designed for use only with thin plastic pots, although this was never specified. Now I have to go find a new bolt that will fit through the spacers and my terracotta pot and secure the tuteur. Not something I think one should have to do; perhaps they should send a couple of sizes of bolts. Also, two of the stem pieces did not totally screw into each other, so there is a gap. Also a quality issue that shouldn't exist.

This wonderful umbrella can be planted many ways. This year I am hanging pots of impatience in the umbrella frame with Ivy crawling up the pole. Umbrella endured harsh Winter winds with no problems locked into the bottom of a huge ceramic pot.

The screw at the bottom isn't long enough to get through the riser and attach to the pole.

Attractive and well-made!

I am using this as a freestanding pillar to train a rose onto. I bought a 25 lb. weight-lifting weight and placed it between the post and the tuteur's bottom instead of a pot, and it works fine! The umbrella top's parts are a little tricky to line up when assembling, and the directions are correct when they note it's easier when done by two people!
