Detailed Description

Mason Bees like to nest where it's dry and protected from weather - under the eaves of a shed or garage. This handsome red cedar shelter holds three of our 65 Tube Standard Mason Bee Houses (included). Easily mounted with included screws.

Overall Dimensions …14 ¼" long x 7" tall x 7 ½" front to back.

Bee Houses are included with this shelter. The shelter is also available empty (see related products below).

This looks like a great product. I was looking for something that I could then remove the filled tubes to save from predation and this is the perfect product to do this with. I will use this this year and hope to have many pupae for the next year. And the fact that it has the overhang is a bonus! It looks like a perfect product.

I have had Mason bees in my garden for 10 years. It started out with a blockhouse someone gave me and I forgot about it and one day I looked and all the holes were filled with what looked like mud. I started reading about the Mason bee and was so impressed with this tiny little bee that I wanted to get involved and have more. My research landed me with Kinsman garden and I have purchased my nicely built houses with tubes and all for many years now. I would recommend Kinsman garden for your Mason bee needs. Quality houses for a reasonable price.

Immediately Attracted Bees 4/23/2019
Less than two weeks after installing, bees have moved in. Thrilled that product worked so well. The cedar shelter is very over-priced - it's simply a couple of boards nailed together - but other than that very pleased with the product.

Well made and easy to mount. I have 3 native fruit trees on my small town lot. So, I figured that if there's a native bee restaurant - they should have a house.

Loose cylinders 7/6/2015
The three cylinders that are to be put into the wooden shelter do not fit as snuggly as pictured in the catalogue. Because of the extra space the cylinders roll back and forth. I can probably wedge something in the wooden structure to keep things secure. I don't think the bees would appreciate a house that rolls back and forth.

I am very pleased with the mason bee house. In about two weeks, bees were there. I have a plant about 5 feet away and that might have attracted them.

Great customer service!! 2/1/2014
I ordered the mason bee house along with the mason bee tubes. The house came with a cracked board on one side. I called to ask how best to repair it so it would hold up. The lady in customer service(I am sorry to say that I did not note her name) was just WONDERFUL!! She immediately said that Kinsman Company would just send me a replacement and they did. I am very happy with Kinsman's service and with the mason bee house kit. Your company carries unique and wonderful items. I have ordered from you before and will recommend you to other gardeners.
