Welcome to Kinsman Garden Company!
Sculptured ceramic fish have tails formed to left or right - so they 'swim' through grasses, perennials and ground covers, creating motion and excitement in your garden.
Start with a group of three - two tails one way and one tail the other way - and add as many as you like to form a colorful shoal of fishes in motion.
These colorful and delicate looking ceramic fish are made in Maine from sturdy stoneware clay and fired to around 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit, a process that makes them able to withstand even Maine's subzero winter temperatures.
Steel stakes (included), pass through the bottom hole of the hollow fish and wedge securely inside the top fin, so the fish stays at the angle you choose to suggest movement and flow by the group of 3 or more.
Artist designer Tyson Weiss, who designs and makes these fish, says: One is a fish on a stick. Two is cute and romantic. Three and more will create the flow."
Small is 8" long x 4 1/4" high x 3" wide
Medium is 11 1/2" long x 6" high x 3 1/2" wide
Large is 14" long x 8" high x 5" wide
DISCLAIMER: EXACT DIMENSIONS AND GLAZE COLORS WILL VARY DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE FIRING PROCESS. MINOR IMPERFECTIONS MAY ALSO OCCUR. EACH FISH IS UNIQUE, AS IN NATURE.

These fish are adorable and well made, but they just sit plopped onto the metal rod that comes with it. The rod goes up into the hole underneath so the fish just flop around on it. It's not stable unfortunately .

Two years ago I ordered three of the blue ceramic fish. They are still swimming in my garden through summer heat and winter snow. I liked them so much I ordered two of the orange ones to put into my koi pond. Everyone thinks they are real. Raccoons will not be able to eat these :-))) I will take them out of the water this winter. I highly recommend them in any garden.

I am the proud owner of 27 ceramic fish, red, dark blue, crystal and white with red spots. They swim up stream in a dry creek bed, landscaping bed of stones to solve erosion problem. They are beautifully made and no two are exactly alike. An unfortunate accident occurred when one was dropped and broken into three large parts. I super glued it back together and it's back in the swim and answers to the new name of Fillet of Fish! No other garden purchase has given me this much pleasure. Look for a picture soon to be sent! You will never regret this purchase and perhaps become a serial fish purchaser, as I have! Thank you to Kinsman and the Maine artist who crafts these fish! CB

|Pretty . . . but not quite as temperature-resistant as advertised||4/22/2019|
Bought a school of these two years ago and have since relocated to Vermont, where, sadly, one of them didn't make it through the winter. In an open yard, so wasn't struck by anything. Shattered into 20+ pieces, so not repairable. Admittedly a bad winter, and I like it enough to replace it, but in they will come going forward.

My sister gave me two of these for Christmas. I have about an acre of flower gardens and although very pretty, they just got lost. So, I ordered three more to make a statement. I placed the five of them in and among a patch of Louisiana iris which are evergreen here, and they were beautiful all Winter. I am looking forward to seeing them among the blooms a little later on. I do wish the metal stakes that came with them were taller. Overall, they are a wonder addition.

On November 8, 2018, my home in Paradise, CA was burnt to the ground along with about 15,500 others. 5 weeks later, I was able to see what was left. My beautiful fishes (3) were still swimming in my back yard. What a beautiful site to see. My yard art was the only thing left.

Love these fish! Love the 3 sizes together.

These glazed fish are gorgeous. The were carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. The pegs have a little rust but metals do rust and it is not worth worring about because a little anti rust paint will do the trick.
