Our original Nuttery Peanut Feeder has been in constant use for over 15 years in our Pennsylvania garden - winter and summer. Generations of Carolina wrens, tufted titmice, chickadees, nuthatches and downy woodpeckers have feasted inside its protecting bars. Red bellied woodpeckers poke their long beaks from outside to dine. Yet squirrels, grackles and blue jays have never managed to crash the ongoing party.

Squirrels get in!

Unfortunately, this lovely little feeder does not keep the squirrels out. They are also able to get the lid off. I had to help one squirrel get out because it got its foot stuck. Not a solution to the squirrel problem!

The Nuttery feeders are perfect for giving the little birds a treat. I've tried a variety of other brands similar to Nuttery, but always come back because of the superior design. The feeders are easy to refill, work as advertised, and last longer than other brands. The big birds can't get into the feeder, like they can with similar designs. I am a big fan of Nuttery feeders!
