25" MOSS HAYRACK LINER

Description

Grown commercially under carefully controlled conditions, the moss is farmed according to a management plan approved by the New Zealand Department of Conservation, then dried and compressed for shipment. New Zealand sphagnum is a renewable resource and regenerates for another harvest in 3 or 4 years.


Fits basket 25" long x 12" wide x 12" deep

When moistened, the moss expands over 3 times in just a few minutes until it is 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick. This moss holds about 20 times its own weight in water.




We used a New Zealand sphagnum moss compressed liner in a 12" hanging basket for a delightful natural look.


Compressed Sphagnum Moss expands like magic in just minutes


1. Gently unfold and lightly pre-moisten the flat liner to soften it. Do not soak. Place the liner into the basket and press gently into shape.


2. Spray more water, on both sides of liner, until it expands and molds itself to the basket.


3. When the moss has expanded, fill with potting material.
